As Assistant Vice President of Administration, Betsy is responsible for overall project organization and direction for the firm. In her role, she oversees all of the firm’s regional Managers of Administration and Administrative Team Leaders; serves as liaison between administrative staff and other groups such as leadership and technology; ensures client protocols and specifications are documented and followed; and works with corporate leadership refreshing and maintaining company guidelines and templates related to work processes and product.

Betsy has been instrumental developing processes, procedures, and best practices, as well as contributing to the creation and development of such items as work product/deliverables, project databases, and file management and storage.

Starting at the firm as Project Administrator, Betsy’s early experience was heavily weighted toward construction loan monitoring work during which she became well-versed in the construction loan process from the point of borrower execution through construction completion. Understanding loan agreement compliance as well as development and hard cost budgets became a specialty, one on which Betsy has trained others in the company to understand and execute. Prior to joining Marx|Okubo, Betsy served as both administrative and management roles in computer hardware distribution.
