When the primary construction lender stopped funding the project one month prior to opening, Marx|Okubo reviewed status of construction, FF&E inventory, regulatory approvals and contract terms/payments to assist the mezzanine lender in understanding project completion costs and risks. Armed with comprehensive support documentation, the mezzanine lender used our findings during critical negotiations with the project team.
