Marx|Okubo welcomes Bradley S. Wolf, P.E. to its San Francisco office, Linda Waterhouse, AIA, NCARB, PMP, LEED GA and Thomas W. Hartmann, P.E. to its Denver office, Neal F. Dominick, P.E., LEED AP to its Houston office, and Marcus R. Guizar to its Orange County office.


Brad Wolf, Senior Associate, has over 25 years of experience in facilities engineering, mechanical engineering, and energy efficiency consulting for commercial, institutional, and industrial clients. Mr. Wolf has led mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire-life safety efforts on multiple projects, including property condition assessments and pre-construction reviews, for properties throughout Northern California. Prior to joining Marx|Okubo, he was a Senior Facilities Engineer at a major semiconductor fabrication factory for ten years providing mechanical engineering services for building infrastructure systems and production equipment. Brad holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois, is a registered mechanical engineer in California, and is a member of the National Fire Protection Association.

Linda Waterhouse, Senior Associate, has over 25 years of experience in architecture and construction. Her professional experience includes pre-design services, pre-construction services, architectural services, project management services, contract administration, construction management, on-site services, and investigative construction forensics. Prior to joining Marx|Okubo, Ms. Waterhouse worked for various architectural, consulting, and design/building firms performing: planning, building design, permitting, specifications, engineering analysis, constructability reviews, building code reviews, cost and budget analysis, construction scheduling, negotiating contracts/change orders, resource allocations, materials procurement, shipping logistics, conflict resolution, safety, and client management. Linda holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture from The Ohio State University and Master of Science Degree in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business. She is a licensed architect in Colorado, certified with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), certified Project Management Professional (PMP), certified LEED Green Associate, and American Institute of Architects (AIA).

Thomas Hartmann, Senior Associate, has over 35 years of structural engineering experience, which includes a variety of property types: office, commercial, institutional and industrial facilities, and multi-family residences. He has designed a very large portfolio of structural projects, including numerous structural repair projects throughout Colorado and surrounding states. Thomas holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, structures emphasis, from the University of Illinois and a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University. He is a certified Quality Manager/Organizational Excellence (ASQ) and is a registered Engineer in Colorado, Nebraska, Montana, Wyoming, Arizona, New Mexico, North Dakota, Minnesota, Ohio, and Arkansas.

Neal Dominick, Senior Associate, has well over three decades of experience in the MEP built-environment. Prior to joining Marx|Okubo, Mr. Dominick was the 'Practice Leader - Mechanical' for a Top 100, as defined by the Engineers News-Record, full-service engineering firm. He was responsible for four team leaders and managed an MEP staff of 20+ engineers and designer. Neal holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University, has completed additional coursework in the military at the Air Force Institute of Technology, is a registered engineer in Texas, Hawaii, and Nebraska, and is a LEED Accredited Professional with the BD+C specialty. He is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), United States Green Building Council, American Institute of Architects, the Construction Specification Institute, and the Urban Land Institute.

Marcus Guizar, Associate, has been involved in architecture, engineering design, and construction management since the early 1980's and has been conducting due diligence evaluations on commercial, hospitality, industrial, and multi-family properties since 2000. He draws upon these experiences to identify potential building deficiencies and property values to real estate and financial clients, in turn allowing them to make informed decisions about real estate transactions. Marcus holds a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, a Master's Degree in Business Management from Sonoma State University, and is an Associate Member with AIA Orange County Chapter.
