Structural Engineer

Associate candidates must possess a strong constructability background and construction administration experience to perform construction monitoring and property condition assessments. The position involves pre-construction plan reviews focusing on structural engineering design constructability and cost evaluations; field observations to assess material conditions of new and existing construction along with damage assessments; development of rehabilitation and renovation construction documents; preparation of formal reports; and client communication. This level of associate will be expected to manage multiple concurrent projects with minimum oversight, possess excellent technical writing skills, and have experience and success in personnel management. The Associate candidates must be a licensed Civil or Professional Engineer (P.E.) with a minimum of five years of related experience.

Senior Associate candidates must possess experience in structural and architectural systems analysis, structural engineering design, failure investigations of materials and installations, seismic risk analysis and retrofit design, construction administration and litigation support. This level of associate must have a high level of personal motivation and proven history of satisfactory client relationships and excellence in staff management and project management. The Senior Associate candidate must be a licensed Civil or Professional Engineer (P.E.), Structural Engineer (S.E.) license a plus, with a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
