New York CityProject scope: Conversion of historic 111-unit, turn-of-the-century residential apartment building to a boutique hotel/extended stay facility.
Hired by a prospective buyer, Marx|Okubo worked with the seller as the on-site project manager and construction quality control consultant. While the hotel's two restaurants remained in full operation, we thoughtfully executed extensive interior and exterior renovations and code upgrades, including installation of a new fire sprinkler system, which ultimately resulted in closing the sale of the property.
