Mark, Vice President in Marx|Okubo’s Southern California region, is responsible for overseeing property condition assessments, pre-construction document reviews and construction phase services, as well as client communications and interface. Mark’s vast experience in the design and construction fields has allowed him to provide appropriate cost budgets which take current economic, labor force and material into consideration.

He has over 25 years of professional experience working in California, as well as nationwide and overseas. Throughout his years in the field, he has served as a design and technical architect for a variety of public and private market sectors. Mark has served as a managing principal for multiple large architecture/engineering firms throughout the western United States and has a broad understanding of all facets of the business. He has served as a planner, designer, project manager and principal. In these roles, Mark has overseen and directly developed project condition assessments and reports, and he has served as a client’s technical representative for a variety of different markets and services.

Mark has a bachelor’s in architecture from the University of Maryland. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and Society of American Military Engineers (SAME).
