Marx|Okubo is pleased to announce the addition of three new staff members to the San Francisco office: Paul Reginato, PE; Ronald Brown, PE, CEM; and Theo Thanopoulos.
Paul Reginato, Senior Associate, will use his numerous years of experience as an engineer for construction defect litigation support and forensic investigation services to provide property condition assessments, design and constructability reviews, periodic construction observation services, and building envelope and moisture intrusion investigations. Mr. Reginato has a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Santa Clara University, and a Master’s degree in civil engineering from Sacramento State University. He is a licensed engineer in California.
Ronald Brown, Senior Associate, brings to Marx|Okubo more than 30 years of experience in mechanical design, facility engineering, and energy engineering for industrial, commercial, and institutional clients. Mr. Brown has led Marx|Okubo’s mechanical and electrical efforts on a number of projects, including property condition assessments and pre-construction project reviews. He has a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan, and is a licensed mechanical engineer in California, Indiana, and Michigan.
Theo Thanopoulos, Project Engineer, provides project consulting, owner’s representation, and design and construction management services in the form of value engineering, budget planning, project scheduling, cost monitoring, and team coordination. Mr. Thanopoulos has served as project manager on structural and architectural restorative repairs, and has acted as an owner’s representative on seismic retrofits. He has a Bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Michigan, and a Master’s degree in engineering and project management from the University of California.
