As Administrative Team Leader in Marx Okubo’s Northeast region, Morenike manages editing and quality control, checking the project review reports for property condition assessments, pre-construction project reviews, and monthly construction observations. Morenike works on document control in all phases of projects (development, engineering, construction and operations) using electronic systems such as Box, Dropbox, SharePoint, and third-party, client-provided cloud services, and ensures process procedures are followed to safeguard compliance by others. She also performs monthly construction observation draw reviews and prepares funding approval.

While working at Marx Okubo, she has been involved with several notable project in the Northeast region, such as American Dream Meadowlands, TSX Broadway on Times Square, and MoMA and MoMA PS1 facility condition assessments.

Prior to joining the firm, she worked at a large interior design firm in Nigeria where she was involved in supply chain management and marketing and sales development. She also worked in auto insurance where she managed no-fault claims.

Morenike earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Stony Brook University and a master’s degree in public administration from Baruch College.
