As Director of Visual Communications, Sharon visually articulates the company’s brand, brand experience and creative vision to employees, stakeholders, and core audiences, which extends to the website, collateral, content/social strategy, e-learning, advertising, and more. Sharon is dedicated to innovation, high-level design and problem-solving. She helps manage the design process and set up marketing process and quality control procedures, as well as implement important marketing-related technical decisions collaborating with technology group. 

Sharon brings over 25 years of experience in the visual arts. Prior to joining the firm, she was an art director for a marketing firm, where her responsibilities were creating and establishing graphic standards for a broad range of clients and industries including architecture, construction, and real estate to technology, education, financial services, retail, and health and wellness.  Sharon collaborated with web developers, copywriters, and graphic designers to solve problems with effective visual approaches. In her previous role as a design and illustration contractor, she managed client projects and expectations while delivering fresh and relevant design in whatever medium or platform was required. Sharon balances her thoughtful artistic, technical, and practical perspective with true strategy in a buttoned-up business environment.

Sharon has a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Louisiana Tech University with an emphasis on studio art and photography. She currently serves on the BVSD Visual Arts Advisory Board to help provide high-quality media arts programming for students in the Boulder Valley School District.
