Joseph Milam, AVP and Director of Mechanical Engineering, is presenter at 2022 GAPPA conference this week

Together with Mark Lawson, P3 Portfolio Director, Board of Regents, University System of Georgia, Marx|Okubo’s Joseph Milam, PE, CIAQP, CEM, LEED AP, AVP and Director of Mechanical Engineering, presented "Real World Application of APPA Standards" at the annual GAPPA conference May 28 through June 1 in Jekyll Island, Georgia.
They discussed the APPA standards, how Marx|Okubo uses those standards to evaluate Public Private Partnership (P3) managed facilities, and how the University System of Georgia uses that data to improve facility maintenance at P3 facilities across the state.
The Georgia chapter of the Association of Physical Plant Administrators brings facility management professionals from higher education and other sectors together for education and networking events.
