Pasadena, CA – July 14, 2026 — Marx Okubo is pleased to announce the promotion of Jason Morris, AIA, RRO, BEC-2, to Vice President in the firm's West region.

Since joining Marx Okubo in 2018, Morris has established himself as a respected leader, combining deep technical expertise with a collaborative approach to serving clients and developing teams. In his new role, he will continue to help shape regional strategy, drive business development initiatives, and support the continued growth of the West region while mentoring staff and leading complex consulting projects.

Morris provides architectural consulting, property condition assessments, pre-construction project reviews, periodic construction observation, and owner's representation services. His experience spans a wide range of building types and project scales—from 72-story office towers to multi-billion-dollar media studio campuses—with specialized expertise in building enclosure systems, including waterproofing, roofing, and exterior envelope performance.

Beyond his project work, Morris has played an integral role in strengthening Marx Okubo's leadership and culture. As a member of the West region leadership team, he contributes to firmwide initiatives that support employee development and organizational growth. He has also participated in the LeaderFlow leadership development program and continues to serve as a guest facilitator, helping develop emerging leaders across the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.
