Due to stucco-clad exterior finishes covering the property’s damaged wood framing, Marx|Okubo used a more discrete and creative solution to limit the amount of destructive testing required, saving money and resources. Our integrated team successfully employed a Resistograph resistance drill (typically used by arborists to determine the health of large diameter trees) to complete the forensic analysis of Montevista’s concealed wood beams while also avoiding any disruption to families in occupied units.
