Courtney, Co-director of Sustainability & Resilience, is an advisor to clients nationwide, working alongside them to strengthen and safeguard their real estate assets and portfolios through integrated sustainability, resilience, and responsible business practices. She brings deep expertise in aligning building performance with business value—guiding clients through decarbonization strategies, energy optimization, and climate risk mitigation across existing assets, acquisitions, and new developments. She supports and oversees a range of services, including lifecycle assessments, energy audits, decarbonization analysis, EV charging infrastructure evaluation, solar feasibility, and comprehensive property resilience assessments (PRAs). Her ability to translate complex data into actionable portfolio and asset-level strategies ensures clients not only meet—but often exceed—their corporate sustainability commitments, goals, and targets.
Courtney has been engaged in the fields of architecture and construction for over 15 years, including architectural design work in Orange County, San Diego and Los Angeles. In her previous roles, her responsibilities have included design development, construction documentation, construction administration services, and building information modeling (BIM) involving multifamily residential, retail, commercial and Department of Defense projects.
She was an active participant in the ASTM working group WK62996 that developed the first-of-its-kind Property Resilience Assessment (PRA) guide, which is the new standard for resilience assessments internationally. Courtney has continued her work with ASTM as a part of the Leadership Group for the ASTM PRA Guide.
Courtney holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from California State Polytechnic University - Pomona. In addition, she is a licensed architect in California, a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the United States Green Building Council, certified with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), and a Fitwel Ambassador.
