Tommy Fong, AIA, LEED AP

Tommy is a member of the Executive Leadership Team who provides leadership to shape, guide, and implement the organization’s technical agenda and advance Marx|Okubo’s core capabilities in architecture, engineering, and construction services.

Prior to his current role, he served as an Assistant Vice President for Marx|Okubo’s Northern California Region helping manage office operations and leading the internal technical training and quality control protocols for the region. Working in the field of architecture for more than 30 years, he has been with Marx|Okubo since the San Francisco office was established over 25 years ago, having extensive experience defining, evolving, and executing the full range of services provided by Marx|Okubo. Tommy brings to the firm technical expertise in design, waterproofing, accessibility, construction document preparation and construction of numerous types of municipal, multifamily residential and commercial facilities.

Tommy holds a bachelor of arts degree with a major in architecture from the University of California – Berkeley, as well as a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Oregon. He is a licensed architect in California, LEED Accredited Professional and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and National Trust for Historic Preservation.
