This Equity Office-owned modern commercial building was not functioning efficiently enough. After performing an energy audit, Marx|Okubo determined that various systems and building components needed re-calibration or upgrading to allow the building’s performance to match the quality of its architectural design.
Under tight time constraints, due to a pending sale of the property, our California team led a retro-commissioning effort to minimize Newport Plaza’s energy footprint and to help keep operating costs in line.
