With the periodic arrival of winter storms, water intrusion can prove to be a force to reckon with as the source may not always be obvious.
Marx|Okubo’s involvement began with reports of major water intrusion at windows along the southwest corner of Building F at the Clearview Business Park. Our investigation of the water intrusion included examination of the exterior wall for potential leak sources, subsequent water testing which confirmed those sources, and destructive testing to pinpoint exact locations/defective construction.
After providing architectural design for repairs of the water intrusion sources, the Marx|Okubo team provided project management and construction administration services. Project management services included pre-construction planning, preparing bid documents and bidders list, bid analysis for recommendations to the Client, conducting OAC meetings, review of the General Contractor's budget, schedule, change orders, and applications for payment, conducting site visits, and preparing the closeout package.
