Marx|Okubo performed initial reconnaissance and destructive water testing for water intrusion on the large decorative clerestory above the upscale retailer’s central escalators.
After completing plans for a new drainable stucco system, Marx|Okubo, acting as project manager, conducted a competitive bid process, guiding two subsequent subcontractors through the work while remaining on budget.
During the process, we also found a previously undiscovered window-installation defect, and designed, implemented and water-tested corrective work to ensure the elimination of all water intrusion.
